  用卡牌玩的猜拳——不只是比誰的手出得快,而是看誰算得準。

  每一張牌都是有限資源:出石頭前想想對手剩幾張布。

  累積分數達到關卡目標前,血量可別歸零。

  A card-based rock-paper-scissors game — it's not about who throws faster,

  but who reads better. Every card is a limited resource:

  think about how many Papers the opponent has left before you throw Rock.

  Hit the target score before your HP runs out.

  • 機率顯示:對手剩餘卡牌分布一目瞭然Odds on display— see what cards the opponent has left
  • 合成 & 分解:兩張石頭合成黑洞(贏所有);一張剪刀分解成兩張半剪Merge & Decompose— fuse two Rocks into a Black Hole (beats everything);split a Scissors into two Half-Scissors
  • 血量壓力:輸太多次 Game Over,Pass 也算輸HP pressure— lose too often and it's Game Over; Pass counts as a loss
  • 歷史紀錄:每一回合的結果都看得到,方便回推策略History log — review every round to refine your strategy
  • 中英雙語:左下角一鍵切換Bilingual — toggle between Chinese and English with one click

這個專案是我 2025 年初開始在下班時間學習單人遊戲開發的第一個作品 (不算那些無法開始或不知如何結束的專案的話)。由於我只有非常基礎的 coding skill,即便有了 CardHouse 提供的卡牌遊戲基礎框架, 隨著功能增加,執行能力開始跟不上,得仰賴 AI 進行收尾(但還是花了三個月),那時候用的是 ChatGPT。

當時輸出 1.0 版本之後(現在的 1.5 只是增加中英切換),比起喜悅,更多的還是解脫 —— 專案後期已經不能算是我在做了。但時隔一年偶然打開它,竟然意外的有趣,

於是就開始追加英文翻譯,打包到 itch.io,也算為自己留下一個紀錄。

在這個專案之後我就轉向學習 Godot,實在受不了每次開 Unity 都要等那麼久。而且 Godot 配合 AI(現在是 Claude Code)以我的感覺方便很多,我也不再只是單純 vibe coding ——得先思考好結構、耦合度、SSOT 等環節,並開啟 Plan Mode 做新功能內容確認,才交給 AI coding,對專案的掌握踏實許多。

目前手邊的專案進行快一年了,也是卡牌遊戲,希望在 10 月之前能有 demo。

真不應該讓自己無限制地增加功能 :p

最近開始玩 PICO-8,small game 的概念非常吸引我,之後應該會轉向多做 1–3 個月能完成的 small game。

This is the first solo game-dev project I actually finished, started in early 2025 during my off-hours  (not counting the ones that never got off the ground or had no clear ending). 

With only very basic coding skills,even with CardHouse providing the card-game framework, my abilities couldn't keep up as features piled on — I had to lean on AI to wrap things up (and it still took three months). Back then I was using ChatGPT.

When I shipped 1.0 back then (the current 1.5 just adds Chinese/English toggle),  what I felt was less joy and more relief — by the late stages it barely felt like I was the one making it anymore.

But opening it again a year later, I was surprised to find it kind of fun. So I added the English translation, packaged it for itch.io, and left this here as a little record for myself.

After this one I switched to learning Godot — I just couldn't handle Unity's startup time anymore. Godot also pairs much better with AI (I'm using Claude Code now), at least for me. And I no longer just vibe-code — I have to work out the structure, coupling,  SSOT and so on first, then use Plan Mode to lock in the scope of each new feature before handing it off to AI. It feels much more grounded.

My current project is almost a year in — another card game —and I'm hoping to have a demo before October.

Should really stop letting myself add features without limits :p

Lately I've been playing with PICO-8, and the "small game" philosophy really speaks to me. I'll probably pivot to projects I can finish in 1–3 months.
